Warner Music Group And FIVE Hotels & Resorts Establish A New Label Company
Warner Music Group and FIVE Hotels and Resorts have joined forces to create a new record label, FIVE Music, with the aim of creating a “global powerhouse” that offers exclusive releases and curated experiences with high-profile artists. The partnership will make use of WMG’s worldwide network of talent and will further bring FIVE’s musically-driven events and taste-making to the forefront of the international music scene.
FIVE is known for its lavish Dubai destinations and immersive entertainment experiences, and the new joint venture is set to redefine music on a worldwide platform. “FIVE’s ethos revolves around first-in-class entertainment driven destinations with our unique ‘Vibe at FIVE’ that attracts a global diaspora of music lovers,” said Aloki Batra, CEO of FIVE Hospitality, admitting, “It made perfect sense for us to align with global musical giant, Warner Music Group when expanding our signature label, FIVE Music.”
To kick off the celebrations, FIVE Music, along with Warner Music Central Europe, Dabruck Creative (DC), and FIVE Music’s exclusive music publishing partner Warner Chappell Music, is hosting an exciting Music Writing Camp till May 14th, 2023 at FIVE Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The event will feature ace artists such as Robin Schulz, Space Motion, Franky Wah, and Alle Farben, along with renowned writers such as KIDDO, Bully Songs, Gez O’Connell, and many others.
The Music Writing Camp aims to create the “Sound of FIVE” for a new generation of fans on a global stage. The label will sign world-famous talent and give guests of the luxury FIVE Hotels and Resorts brand an exclusive destination for multi-sensory, “next-level” entertainment experiences.
FIVE Music has also committed to building a custom, state-of-the-art production studio at the sumptuous FIVE Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The new space will function as a collaborative environment where musicians from all over the world can connect and create.
