Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the directors including chief revenue director and chief operating officers to establish clear client acquisition plans and adoption targets that will contribute towards achieving company growth projections;

  • Work with customer success managers to deliver a seamless client onboarding and implementation experience;

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of MusicPromoToday’s campaigns and digital assets;

  • Collaborate with other sales leaders to develop and sustain a world-class culture, team-morale, and a performance/ goal setting environment;

  • Recruit, coach, and lead an account executive team capable of developing and managing a pipeline of opportunities to consistently meet and exceed sales targets;

  • Build business by securing contracts with new prospects; maintaining and expanding on relationships with existing clients;
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options;
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending appropriate solutions for the specific needs of the client;
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements;
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors;
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for weekly, monthly annual sales KPI’s;
  • Cultivate customer relationships, deliver effective proposals, and negotiate complex contracts to capture profitable new business;
  • Ensure proposals, objectives, and deliverables maximize operating profit and revenue growth;
  • Build real and lasting relationships with customers – identify new areas of opportunity and negotiate sales for mutual benefit;
  • Responsible for the establishment of realistic timelines and communication of said timelines to the customer;
  • Create and execute successful plans to penetrate new markets.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive sales experience with ideally 1+ years of management or team lead experience;
  • Experience in working with upper management to align sales strategies and solutions;

  • The ideal candidate has demonstrated success and experience in a lead generation role, focused on inbound lead nurturing and has at least 1-3 years of formal or informal coaching and leadership expertise;

  • Strong interest in the music and entertainment space;

  • Excellent understanding and experience of email marketing;

  • Excellent understanding and experience with Google Sheets/Excel including G Suite;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thorough work approach;

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and understanding of how to develop strong relationships internally and externally;

  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across multiple projects and teams;

  • Strong customer-facing skills;
  • Familiarity and passion for technology;
  • Strength in building and maintaining relationships internally and within client organizations.
