Host A Talk Show on Instagram

We’re looking to take our content game to a whole new level, and are looking for someone with the perfect blend of creativity, quirkiness, tech savvy, and on-camera presence to join us on our adventure. Become a video content creator, host shows abut the music industry, music related news, celebrities…!

This will start initially as a minimum 6-month part-time contract (15 – 20 hours per week) and will involve producing, filming. Editing of video content will be done by our production team. You are required to provide the actual content of the videos. The shows will be hosted on major Instagram pages; not our website, not on YouTube.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching and sourcing narratives based on the video’s topic
  • Create Instagram video content such as IGTV, Reels and more
  • Host a newly created Instagram show
  • Creating a short outline before the script – that details the theme of each Instagram IGTV, and links to the relevant research;
  • Fast turnaround for video edits, with strong communication for ETA’s/deadlines;
  • Able to research and source footage independently.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fast learners with positive energy who are looking to start a career with us or build professional hosting skills for the future
  • Previous acting, hosting experience is an advantage
  • Applicants should be charismatic with an open-minded personality
  • A show person at heart and be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Familiar with the urban music space: hip hop, pop, r&b, rap
  • Familiar with events, trends in the music industry
  • Previous work in scriptwriting, video, blogging, or similar media
  • Ability to create an engaging content based off research
  • Creative sense of ‘voice/P.O.V.’ in the script
  • Knowledge a wide range of areas: music, movies, TV series, and popular culture
  • Good communication and organizational skills
